Phi Zeta 2024

Recently Phi Zeta 2024 occurred. Many of our students and faculty won awards.

The 2nd place award for Graduate student goes to Gabbie Robilotto who is mentored by Dr. Aaron Mickel on her research on Investigating Angiotensin Type 1 Receptor in Experimental Autoimmune Cystitis. The 3rd place for Postdoc Fellows goes to Firoj Alom also mentored by Dr. Aaron Mickle for his research on Urothelial signaling can initiate a local bladder contraction. Madeline McCoy who was mentored by Dr. Chris Martyniuk was awarded 1st place on her research for Investigation of the Effect of Low Dose Perfluorotetradecanoic Acid (PFTeDA) Exposure on Gut Microbiome Diversity in Adult Zebrafish (Danio rerio). One of our Biological Scientist Dr. Amany Sultan who was mentored by Dr. Chris Martyniuk won 2nd place for her research on Elucidating metabolic effects of dietary GenX in Nile Tilapia liver.
