Lou Guillette Jr. Memorial Symposium

On March 14th and 15th, a symposium was held at UF for former professor and scientist Lou Guillette Jr. He was a distinguished professor who encouraged many people to become who they are today. The Symposium was sponsored by HEEDS (Healthy Environment and Endocrine Disruptor Strategies.) Physiological sciences sponsored lunch and Dr. Jada Lewis sponsored the coffee breaks. The two days were filled with memories and science that Lou Guillette helped inspire. He worked on Endocrine Disruptors and the environment. He was an avid photographer who captured all of his journeys. Thanks to all the speakers it was a successful event bringing together scientist and student alike.
